I’ve always loved to travel—especially on my own. There’s something deeply peaceful about setting off solo, with only your thoughts, your path, and the world unfolding before you. That’s why I’ve dedicated this page to travel—to the places I go, the journeys I take, and the quiet beauty found along the way.
While I enjoy train rides and the comfort of long-distance buses, my true love lies elsewhere: on the water.
There’s nothing quite like traveling by boat—whether it’s the gentle sway of a ferry crossing or the vast serenity of a cruiser gliding through a river or a lake. Being surrounded by water, disconnected from the rush of land, offers a sense of calm and reflection I’ve never found anywhere else. Time slows down. The world opens up. And your thoughts drift like waves.
Flying, on the other hand, is something I’m learning to grow more comfortable with. I won’t pretend it comes easily. I’ve had my share of challenging flights—moderate turbulence, unsettling go-arounds, and moments in the sky that tested my nerves. But with each flight, each takeoff, each landing, it gets a little easier. Still, given the choice, I’d always pick the water.
